WORKING INFORMATIVE

Specific roles and activities during the 5 yr. experience working for Fermilab:

· Computer Professional, Computing Division, Online and Database Systems.

* Collaborating to the Data Distribution and Job Scheduling System of D0 (SAM): C++, Python in a world wide distributed environment. Major involvements:

- C++ adaptor (CORBA) of SAM to PBS;

- statistical analysis of user access patterns to the data(SQL);

- SAM interface to the Root Analysis Framework.

- Monitoring/Display of major events in SAM using Java (swing, JDBC, Sockets)

* C++ Approximate Nearest Neighbors engine on Objectivity data, for the SDSS. Client/Server architecture using CORBA on a small Linux cluster mounting the Global File System.

* Java GUI to the SQL message database of the CDF experiment (swing, JDBC).

· Physicist Engineer, Particle Physics Division, Engineering and Technical Team

* Support to experiment 835:

- C/FORTRAN code on UNIX scripts to perform data analysis

- on call 24x7, operating and trouble shooting the Jet Target of E835, a vacuum/cryogenic machine

- web master and system administrator of a UNIX cluster of 6 DEC and 4 SGI workstations.

· Guest scientist: Beam Division and Particle Physics Division

* a Real Time / GUI application in C to measure and control devices of the Antiproton Source.

* modification of a C program embedded in a DSP to perform Real Time spectrum analysis.

* design and implementation (C) of a document bookkeeping system (miniSQL) accessible through the web (CGI).

* Software (C/FORTRAN) and electronics (CAMAC) of the data acquisition system to characterize a multichannel photo multiplier based detector.

* Automatic Controls (nested PID) of pressure (0-120 psi for H2) and temperature (10-80 K cryo generator) of the Jet Target of E835. Lab VIEW interfaced to the instrumentation via GPIB, RS232 and a MIO card.

* mechanical design of the pumping system of the E835 Jet Target to double its efficiency.
