Shift Report

                    8:00am - 4:00pm, Oct. 25, 1996

On Shift: XF,WB,SJ,GZ,KG

Goal of this shift: taking data at chi2 peak

     The main DAQ hanged for RUN 693, 694, 695, it was fixed by GZ about
10:00am, the buffer of gateway was too small.

     About 9:00am TP found the 3.5 degree movable detector had been
moved, XF and TP moved it back to the right place after RUN 695.

     10:00am, the tapes on drv5 and drv6 (CHARM), drv9 and drv10 (CALIB)
could not be mounted, these four drvs were taken out of main DAQ by GZ.

Luminosity:

                 RUN 694:  39.9 nb^-1 (DAQ hanged)
                 RUN 695:  37.7 nb^-1 (DAQ hanged)
                 RUN 696: 159.4 nb^-1
                 RUN 697:  63.2 nb^-1 (DAQ abort, too many errors)

RUN 696 is the first good runs since we started to take data at chi2
peak.

  Make sure you have saved the PC luminosity data file and start the PC
luminosity DAQ at the same time when the main DAQ starts a new run.
