On shift: Mara Martini and Michelle Thompson At 16:30, the deceleration to the psi was completed with 10.4 mA remaining. Ecm= 3096.9 MeV Run 908:: start: 16:51 end: 20:16 Inst. Lum : 0.67 x 10^31 2 DAQ hangs during this run. The first quickly reset, but the second time the DAQ hung, the reset button locked the main control screen completely. We will need George or Keith's assistance in extracting the integrated luminosity and the end of run stats from the DAQ. Run 909:: start:20:55, still running, Inst. Lum: 0.4 x 10^31 No DAQ problems. The gas jet density was lowered to increase the lifetime a bit. The beam lifetime was small, about 8 hours at 6 pm. The MCR was called, and changes were made to the cooling system. Later, Steve O'day also investigated, finding that the beam was displaced vertically and making some corrections to improve the lifetime. Currently, the lifetime is 20 hours with 5.6 mA remaining. Cheers, Mara and Michelle
