Some initial debugging of new PRUDE code concerning online selection of data events for the ccal and fcal calibration. There was only time to show that the initialization routines did not crash. In the analysis area PRUDE crashed. This was done in 45 minutes with several interruptions. The jet was turned off and pedestals were taken (run 4842). These were directly written to the database without a cursory check. The jet was turned on and the DAQ was configured for writing multiple tapes (not the main data configuration). ~16700 events were written to each of five tape drives (~100K events) during the 8 minute run. The jet was turned off; all detectors were turned off by 11:05pm. The jet's cryo-cooler was turned off to allow it to be at room temperature by the time the access begins at 6am to fix/replace the dead turbo-pump (see earlier status email by Stephen). The deceleration was very successful. Starting current was 6.78mA. At the bottom of the ramp: 6.56mA. The remaining beam was dumped. Keith
