Day Shift Jan 28, 2000 On shift R.Calabrese, M.Stancari, G.Cibinetto Psi' scan is in progress. At the beginning of the shift (3rd point) the beam energy moved of about 140 KeV below the nominal value, then it was stable. Also the beam orbit is stable (for all the scan), but it is different from the one of the previous stack ( Jan. 23): it is now changed by 2 mm horizontally (outside) and 1 mm vertically (down). Few problems: a prescaler broken (fixed by changing the prescaling factor from 10 to 100, where it works), 2 DAQ hangs fixed with reset. At the end of the run scalers did not send any value, to be checked at the next start of DAQ. We continued to use 1 mA for each point. Run 5017, 5018 are pedestal runs. Psi' scan: run number 3rd Point 5015, 5016 4th Point 5019 At the end of the shift (I_beam= 9.6 mA) we asked for deceleration to the 5th point. All decelerations were very efficient. Roberto
