On shift: GG , GC, PR Logbook 8 pages 39-41 Ecm = 3525.25 MeV (1P1 peak?) Run 5771 nb^-1 initial Ibeam : 18.19 mA final Ibeam : 10.76 mA average instant. luminosity : 2.2 10^31 cm^-2 s^-1 Sigma Ecm 300-330 KeV Comments: 17:30 Steve Werkema calls. A quadrupole has been found with wrong setting. This was likely the cause of the beam problems occurred so far. He will try to fix the problem. 17:52 Steve says to turn on very very slowly the jet target while he moves the bean energy to 3526.25 MeV, since it has dropped to 3525.67 MeV. 18:56 Ecm is now 3525.25 MeV, sigma Ecm = 310 KeV, Ibeam = 12.66 mA. We start run 5771 with jet density = 3.9 x 10^14 cm^-3 and lumin = 2.2 x 10^31 cm^-2 s^-1. Unclugging performed 3 times. No DAQ hungs. 22:00 end of run and stack. MCR will investigate the quadrupole problem. Thanks to MO and MN for helping doing the end of stack procedure. Buonanotte, Gigi, Gabriele, Paolo 2 x 10^31 cm^-2 s^-1. Unclugging performed 3 times.
