 17:30 Deceleration completed

 18:10 Took pedestal run 5777

 18:35 Started run 5778, keeping gas jet low
 
 18:40 Slowly brought up gas jet 

 18:45 Sudden beam loss: current drops from 37.9 mA to 17.7 mA; run
aborted. Martin calls and tells us to turn off the jet. 

 19:45 Gas jet turned on, run 5778 overwritten, start of run 5779.
Beam is now at 17.65 mA. Ecm is 3526.25 MeV.

 Shift is thankfully smooth after that; a couple of DAQ hangs. 

 Run 5779 is turned over to owl shift with 15.2 mA and 290.9 nb-1 of data.
