ECL cable attached and TDC hits reappeared. 2. TARFU 11:15 Jet communication was in error. Used procedure twice to fix the problem. Then rebooted the Jet Mac w/permission from GG. 11:42 Straws tripped. Reset sucessful 3. FUBAR 11:50 MCR called that the stack is gone. Beam valve between AP-40 and AP-50 closed due to bad vacuum. Jet target experts are investigating the cause as I write. SNAFU->Situation Normal All Fouled Up TARFU->Things Are Really Fouled Up FUBAR->Fouled Up Beyond All Repair Have a nice day Nadia and Ted 13:30 After an access. A 24 power supply of the jet target tripped off and shut all the pumps down. Cary, Sally and Gabriele went donwstair and resetted the power supply. After that they could turn everything on again. A fuse blew on one of the GOULD modules in the counting room, this may have caused the tripping. They are waiting for Dave Miller to replace the fuse, since we can run without that module. Dear Nadia, thankyou very much for your addendum - a comment. We don't know why the 24 volt died..it's not clear that it is not connected to the fuse blowing...so I don't think we should replace the fuse before we check things out rather carefully ..and/or at least only do the replacement when there would be time to recover from another 24 volt failure. The reason I am pointing this out of course is that it would not be a good thing if we spoil the vacuum in the pbar source. Stephen
