Owl Shift Summary for 10/9/00
On Shift: GG,JK and KEG,MO part time

Beam Current at the end of the shift (6:30 am) is 20.33

Runs:
7246  pedestal run
7247  overwritten (see below)
7248  stopped with tapes about 8% full (see below)
7249  doesn't exist
7250  given to day shift


List of Problems:
1. Channel 22 of H2' is dead. MO investigated this and found that there was no
signal from the cable entering the couting room from the pit.
2. Straw 1 inner and outer layer is not showing enough counts. This problem is
still being looked into by MO (and now RM).
3. There is no luminosity spectra being recorded. Keith looked at the signal
coming from the pit and could not get any triggers (pre-amp not working?). We
are still trying to find someone who can look into this.
4. There were two unresettable DAQ hangs which required us to stop the run and
do a drt_fresh_start. Run 7247 had just begun and so it was overwritten. Run
7248 was stopped with the tapes only 8% full, but we kept that data.
5. Beam momentum cooling is not working too great. Engineers will be coming in
shortly to fix it.
6. Drive 0 doesn't work.

That's all the problems we can think of at the moment.
