Day Shift Summary - 10/09/00 On shift: RM, MN Log Book #9 Pages 22-24 Data at psi' peak Beam Current at the end of the shift : 17.9mA Runs: 7250 given to eve shift (inherited - still in progress) We run with low luminosity (PBGOR ~0.4 MHz, we should run at ~0.9 MHz) because of problems with the cooling (TWT needs to be fixed). Minor headaches: - Straw chamber 1 does not react to HV. - H2'-22 gives no signal. - Lumi monitor : see below 10:11 : run 7250 was paused in order to allow Steve Werkema to work on the horizontal and vertical tuning of the beam. Straws HV turned off. 10:55 : straws HV on and run 7250 resumed. 11:20 : Willi investigates the problem with the luminosity monitor. Looking at the recorded luminosity of the DAQ almost all the entries are 0 and only the background is visible on the monitor. 14:05 : Straws tripped. Reset. 15:05 : TWT fixed. The beam seems to be under control. 15:45 : We begin to increase the jet density (in small steps). Goal: PBGOR Rate: 0.9-1.0 MHz. Have a good day. Roberto and Matteo
